It’s hard to imagine a human person busier than Ypsilantian Fred Thomas. We just spoke with him last week abut his band Failed Flowers, during which time Thomas spoke separately of a brand new studio that he’s manning to record himself and others. Dude also has a full-time job and a rad and talented girlfriend (mentioning that here because relationships usually take time, and stuff — also because I like that pictore of them at Zola Jesus last week).

And now, a new album just announced today, on the Polyvinyl label. There’s a special pre-order for it here, and you can check out a song from it below. Seriously, how does Fred Thomas do it? I got tired just writing all that, whew.
