At some point in 2007, four British dudes came together and thought “hey, let’s make a southern-American folk band where our main schtick is whisper screaming.” Thus, Mumford & Sons were born. And people fucking love Mumford & Sons.
They’ve won just about every award a band can win (Grammy’s, Juno’s, ARIA’s, Echo’s, Billboard’s, and Brit’s) and they’re in a position to say things like, “fuck the banjo” and still be taken seriously.
Hailed as the band’s largest tour to date, the 60-date worldwide arena trek in support of their forthcoming record Delta (Nov. 16) kicks off this fall and will include a visit to Little Caesars Arena on March 27.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here starting at $44.50.
