Much hyped (and deservedly so) act L.A. Witch is playing UFO Factory tonight, Monday, May 9. It’s $12.  All the details for the show are here. This is the first-ever show in Detroit by the band.

Spin magazine, which still exists, sort of, wrote in January of this year that L.A. Witch makes “hard-living rock ‘n roll in the vein of ‘black’ bands like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, the Black Angels, and a proto-Black Mountain born under a dustier sun.”

Oakland-based Sugar Candy Mountain and local favorited the Moonwalks open up, so get there close to 9 p.m. if you can; you will not regret this decision.
