In today’s breaking goth news, rockers Evanescence have announced a co-headlining tour with electric violinist Lindsey Stirling.

The tour is set to make a stop at DTE Energy Music Theatre on Monday, July 9 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale on 10 a.m. on Friday. They start at $25 and are available here.

According to a press release, both bands will be backed by a full orchestra, “making for a magical summer evening.”

Evanescence is best known for its 2003 nu-metal hit “Bring Me To Life,” which former Metro Times music editor Johnny Loftus called “a flawless slice of Linkin Park-style anguish pop.” Meanwhile, Stirling made a name for herself in the YouTube era for playing covers of “Legend of Zelda” and “Skyrim” songs on electric violin.

The co-headlining tour makes sense: Both artists collaborated on the song “Hi-Lo” from Evanescence’s 2017 album, Synthesis.
