Beer! We’ve seen an ever increasing rise of Michigan’s craft beer industry thanks to revamped regulations, and we’ve reaped the benefits because of it. Thrillist apparently agrees: In a list this week that ranks every state by its beer, Michigan earned high remarks, coming in at No. 4.
As Thrillist puts it, “mittens were meant for holding cold brews, and Michigan happens to host some of the best damned breweries in the country.” The site gives a nod to Bell’s, Founders, and Short’s.
“In Michigan,” Thrillist notes, “beer love starts early.”
