Beer! We’ve seen an ever increasing rise of Michigan’s craft beer industry thanks to revamped regulations, and we’ve reaped the benefits because of it. Thrillist apparently agrees: In a list this week that ranks every state by its beer, Michigan earned high remarks, coming in at No. 4

As Thrillist puts it, “mittens were meant for holding cold brews, and Michigan happens to host some of the best damned breweries in the country.” The site gives a nod to Bell’s, Founders, and Short’s.

“In Michigan,” Thrillist notes, “beer love starts early.”
