New York-style slice purveyor Mootz Pizzeria and Bar will likely open in downtown’s Belt Alley sometime in December or January.
The 4,000-square-foot restaurant at 1230 Library St. will hold a dine-in component with a bar with 20 beers on tap, and a pizza-by-the-slice counter, Eater reports.
When it opens, Mootz will join a crowded pizza market in and around downtown, which among others includes Brass Rail Pizza Bar, Supino, PizzaPlex, El Club Pizza, Eat-N-Out, Giordano’s, Jolly Pumpkin, Niki’s, La Lanterna, PizzaPapalis, Mike’s Pizza Bar, Bellacino, a soon-to-open Buddy’s, and more.
