To our other neighbors from the south — happy Canada Day!

On July 1, 1867, the British North America Act was passed, which established a self-governing federation and united the provinces of New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, and Quebec to form Canada.

As Michiganders, we should reflect on all of the great gifts Canada has given us. Like Tim Hortons coffee. The delicacy that is poutine. Or perhaps most importantly, the ability legally drink as 19 year olds.

How will you be celebrating?
