On Friday, June 20, the Palmer Woods Music in Homes series will kick off its finale weekend. The historic neighborhood will host two nights of music in a tent set up between two mansions, with a tour of one of the mansions — a 1928 Dutch Revival home designed by renowned architect Robert O’Derrick — available before the concerts to ticketholders. Tickets are $45 each, or $40 if purchased in groups of 10 or more. Tickets are available here or by calling 313-891-2514.

Friday, June 20 features Orquestra La Inspiracion. Saturday, June 21 features Kamau Kenyatta-Shahida Nurullah & Friends. Both events start at 8 p.m. and include food. Saturday’s event features a 5 p.m. kids’ concert.
