The Southeast Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG), a regional planning agency, is asking residents from across the region to fill out a survey on economic development.

The survey, launched in conjunction with the Metropolitan Affairs Coalition (MAC), is meant to gather perspectives and attitudes toward economic development in the region, SEMCOG says.

“This survey, plus input received from focus groups and a task force later in the year will help provide a broad perspective as we develop the economic development strategy,” said Kathleen Lomako, SEMCOG executive director, in a statement.
