According to the Enquirer's Trace Christenson the incident went down like this:
At around 4:30 p.m. yesterday, a family was taking an afternoon drive through a park on George B. Place at Willard Beach when they say they spotted some shenanigans going down on a picnic table and then caught an eyeful of exposed man-parts after the couple was through.
Police were called and given the runaround by the duo. Christenson reports:
The woman, 51, from Saline, had fled and was on a pontoon boat which did not belong to her and was in the lake. Officers called her but she got into the water and hid under the boat, refusing to come to shore. Officers climbed a fence trying to reach the woman but were unable to find her on or under the pontoon.
A short time later she climbed back onto the pontoon and was arrested. She told officers she hid because she had an arrest warrant from Ann Arbor.
She was taken to the Calhoun County jail and booked on charges of gross indecency. Police are still seeking a warrant for the arrest of her partner.
