Television viewers across the country will get an in-depth look at the Kwame Kilpatrick saga when the new season of American Greed kicks off on Wednesday. The first episode details the rise and fall of Detroit’s “hip-hop mayor.”

“The man who many residents thought was going to be the key to revving Detroit’s revival, instead, helped drive it over the financial cliff,” reads a post on the American Greed Facebook page.

The episode airs Wednesday, 10 p.m. EST. Watch the trailer below, or revisit our 2008 feature “Just go: Why the mayor should step down.”
