If you were thinking of catching the soon-to-be-legendary recording session at Baker’s Keyboard Lounge this Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, featuring jazz tenorman James Carter and illustrious friends, think again. Unless you’ve got one of the precious tickets, it’ll be impossible to get into the apparently packed sets (swamped is the word). Of course, it’s gratifying to see such enthusiasm for the music, folks.
