Half of America is now roaring for the Detroit Lions as the once-hapless team enters the divisional round of the Super Bowl tournament as the top-ranked squad in the NFC.

After an impressive 15-2 season, the mighty Lions host the Washington Commanders at 8 p.m. Saturday. The Lions are 8.5-point favorites to win that game.

A new map using geotagged data from the social media platform X shows that fans from 25 states are rooting for the Lions. Created by BetOnline.ag, the map relies on an analysis of more than 190,000 social media posts using official fan hashtags like #OnePride (Detroit Lions), #ChiefsKingdom (Kansas City Chiefs), and #BillsMafia (Buffalo Bills).

The Bills garnered the second most support, with 10 states rooting for them. Meanwhile, the Chiefs, last year’s champs, had the support of just four states.

According to the data, a Lions-Bills Super Bowl would be a dream matchup for NFL fans.

But for us Lions fans, it’s one game at a time.
