Detroit emcee NameTag has come through again with a shrewd new single called “Paper.” This is an excellent follow up from “A.L.A.R.”, his single that was released in early May. NameTag strategically targets the blameless and corrupt ways we let money control our lives.

He raps, “Back to the paper chase, gotta’ make them investments, rather buy stocks instead of a necklace.” The track was produced by JR Swiftz and a full length album is expected to drop in the near future. NameTag is another talented motor city emcee who’s been on the proverbial brink for the last few years; let’s see if his new body of work will get him there.
