You don’t have to be a math whiz to figure out that two nights plus two stages equal 18 local bands who are ready to rock those turkey dinner calories off your bones. Making a sonic splash for its second year is JettBlast Fest, which returns to PJ’s Lager House for a weekend blowout.
Friday will see the likes of Ancient Language, Das, Troy Toma, and Crystal Drive, with Bantam Rooster headlining. Saturday’s lineup will include the Ill Itches, Tart, Kimball, and the Idiot Kids, with local punk legends Hysteric Narcotics closing out the weekend.
JettBlast Fest begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23 and Saturday, Nov. 24 at PJ’s Lager House; 1254 Michigan Ave., Detroit; 313-961-4668; pjslagerhouse.com; Tickets are $10 per night.
