Metro Detroit’s favorite sax-playing-DJ is shaping up to have a great 2026.

Last week, GRiZ was announced as one of the headline acts of Tennessee’s Bonnaroo music festival. Now Michigan’s Electric Forest revealed GRiZ will also join its festival, including two separate sets.

More than 100 other artists join the bill, which leans heavy on EDM and jam bands, including acts like Illenium, Kaskade, Disco Lines, the String Cheese Incident, Channel Tres, and even NBA star Shaquille O’Neal, who is slated to perform a b2b set with T-Pain as his bass-heavy alter ego DJ Diesel.

The festival is scheduled for June 25-28 in its longtime home in Rothbury on the west side of the state.

Tickets go on sale to the general public at noon on Friday, Dec. 12 at electricforest.com.

In the meantime, GRiZ is set to perform a set of hometown shows as part of his annual 12 Days of GRiZMAS holiday festivities, including a live jam at the Majestic Theatre on Tuesday, Dec. 16; a DJ night at the Russell Industrial Center on Thursday, Dec. 18; and back-to-back concerts at the Masonic Temple on Friday, Dec. 19 and Saturday, Dec. 20.
