Bad Indians are getting good. This 7-inch recorded on a 4-track cassette is their clearest sound to date! Dig the subtle bubblegum-pop, echo-laden psychedelia and feedback squalls, plus the harmonies, organs and discernible vocals. Their Spring LP hinted at this Ypsi-quartet’s honing of lo-fi DIY methods; it seems their dynamism as a live rock act can start now. —Jeff Milo
