Because it's still not quite spring and we could all use a little heat.

The Sugar House brings us its Sunday night Tiki party, Postcards from Polynesia. Featuring Guatemalan rum Ron Zacapa, Tiki cocktails, plus a preview of the bar's upcoming spring menu, you may just forgive Mother Nature for dumping a bunch of snow on us a few days earlier.

Pull out your favorite cabana wear (or not) and catch some island vibes in the cozy bar. The party gets started at 5 p.m., March 6 and goes 'til the last Zombie is poured. Sugar House is at 2130 Michigan Ave. in Detroit.
