DIB is a local comeback story. The beloved bagel and coffee spot closed in 2020, but soon announced its return, moving into the Core City space formerly occupied by Ochre Bakery and Astro Coffee. Opened in February, its menu includes bagels, breakfast sandwiches, Challah loaves, and coffee.

Walk up to this window in Detroit’s Capitol Park for a quick jammy egg sandwich. Open 8 a.m.-2 p.m. daily, Iggy’s serves breakfast and lunch with its highest-priced item set at $10.50. The Original Eggie, which is just egg and Iggy sauce on a bun, is only $3.75. Adding meat costs an extra $3 and adding cheese costs an extra $1.50, with other available toppings at varying prices.
