Brew Detroit sets grand opening date

The official grand opening date for the long-awaited Brew Detroit has been set – Thursday, February 12th. It will be a proper celebration, too, with food trucks, music, and (obviously) plenty of beer!

A collaborative brewery, Brew Detroit brews for their neighbors and their brands in addition to themselves. Their tasting room will feature 10 taps of constantly-rotating original beers, plus frequent collaborations and special guest-brewer batches! Their 2-barrel Nano Magic system allows them to keep batches small and ever-changing, allowing for true seasonal and creative brewing!

Brew Detroit's unique space was built out of wood reclaimed from their brewhouse shipping crates and equipment skids, with plenty of room to hang out and watch whatever games are on TV or play a round of shuffleboard (yes, shuffleboard!) while enjoying some delicious craft beer.

Food trucks will make appearances on the weekends (currently Delectabowl and The Mean Weenie) and people are invited to order food from any of the local establishments in the area that deliver during the week.

Brew Detroit also plans to have heavy involvement in the community, having already held several private events and fundraisers, and offers tons of space and are flexible when it comes to event planning. They've also promised to keep the ideas rolling in terms of home brewer contests, live music, and more!
