Big Rock Chop looks like the kind of place where Hemingway would spend a lot of time and a good portion of his book advances. The building oozes northern lodge appeal, if indeed northern lodges appeal to you. There are a variety of rooms in which to dine, including an outdoor patio and Got Rocks, a second floor hideaway with table side service and more martinis than a Rat-Pack dressing room. This place will survive long after the brew pub craze has gone the way of Papa himself.
