Metro Times’s Best of Detroit readers’ poll is a longstanding tradition, and it’s that exciting time of year again when metro Detroiters vote for their favorite local people, places, and things.
As the 2024 Best of Detroit poll voting kicks off, we’re taking a look back at past winners, starting with the best pizza spots from the last five years. Whether you’re nostalgic for past champions or seeking inspiration for this year’s vote, we made a list of top pizza winners from Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Washtenaw counties. Some counties have had the same winner multiple years, while others have so many great pizza options it’s hard to choose.
Voting closes at midnight on Wednesday, September 11. The 2024 winners will be revealed in the Best of Detroit Issue, available in print and online on Wednesday, October 16.
You’ve heard what we have to say. Now it’s YOUR turn to tell us what you think about metro Detroit.
