“I came on a Saturday night and was lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. My boyfriend and I ordered two drinks, 4 rolls of sushi, and the fried gyoza.
The bartender was so nice and informative and really helped us since it was our first time. The sushi arrived so fast it was unreal. We got all four rolls on a Saturday night, in I kid you not, 10 minutes! The gyoza came shortly after. All of which were so yummy! My favorite was the dragon roll. The sushi was fresh and the service was great!

“I haven't been to this place in about a year until today and couldn't remember how it was. True to my nature I ordered sushi.
The service was great and the food was reasonably priced (especially for it to be in Grosse Pointe) and awesome. My hand roll was huge filled with a TON of tuna. My nigiri was a nice size too. I was actually shocked. The Shrimp California was also very good. I tend to stick to the raw sushi but wanted to try something I never had.

“So we went here twice in one week! Does that say a lot or what? We came in at a very cold, rainy night and although it was chilly inside the miso soup sure warms you right up! We only ordered sushi but you get complimentary soup and salad. That's what draws me in. I can get the best of everything for such a great price.
Our server has been the same both times and she is really, really great!! She is prompt, courteous, and great at giving advice. If you are ever nervous to ask about what to get with certain things you like, this is a great starter place. She can give THE best advice on what to order!! She brings it, checks on you to make sure it's exactly what you wanted.. fantastic in my book!! I need that reassurance that she wants to make sure the experience is everything YOU wanted it to be!!

“A couple friends and myself ventured to Xushi Ko this past Sunday afternoon for lunch, what a great decision! When you sit down, they have electronic menus, basically just an iPad/tablet as a menu. It was nice because there are a bunch of different sushi rolls and if you click on the name of the roll, it pops up with a picture of the roll along with the price. It was a nice touch. We started off with the Spiral Avocado with tuna and it was amazing. Great way to start your meal. We then ordered and I went with the Sushi tower which for $10 is well worth every penny. It was delicious! I also split a Lion King roll which was just so flavorful and can't wait to have it again. You can't go wrong with whatever specialty roll you order there. “We REALLY enjoy Koi Nu Asian! We've been fans of another Asian restaurant on Mack Avenue (AND STILL ARE!), which is a bit more upscale than this, but there is room enough in our rotation AND in the Pointes for BOTH!!
My wife and daughter are crazy about the bao buns. They traveled to Tai Wan last year, and swear these are as authentic and delicious as what they had there. The shrimp tempura appetizer is also among the best I've ever had. I wish they offered them as an entree! Gyoza and crab rangoon are also top-notch.
Daughter loves their rolls, and I enjoy them as well. The Asian pear salad is soooo light and refreshing you almost want to drink it! All of their noodle dishes hit the mark as well. I've eaten lunch inside with a friend a few times (pre-pandemic) and the servers have both been delightful.
