Detroiters march in Banglatown and Hamtramck calling for a ceasefire in Gaza
Roughly 100-150 protesters gathered at Jayne Field Park in Detroit’s Banglatown as part of the “All Out for Palestine” day of solidarity and action hosted by Palestinian Youth Movement. The group marched for roughly three miles through nearby Hamtramck. No incidents were reported at the protest. The protesters call for an end to Israel’s attacks in Gaza, which the territory’s health ministry says claimed some 15,200 lives, including many women and children.
