Thrall

Thrall takes the scariest parts of late-night public-access church talk programs and sets them to metal-infused hymns, perhaps what would happen if some rebellious mic assistant replaced the holy water with acid rain or just plain old liquid acid. Emitting fiery, fainting, fallen-angel rock sermons from his contorted gut, Mike Hard sings the soundtrack of the apocalypse to all the deadened-emotion, Prozac-choking sweaty bar patrons/sinners. These Ypsi insurrectionists have already released their claustrophobic paranoia on an Alternative Tentacles debut full-length and a few E.P.s (including the searing Remove and Replace E.P., which features photos of former band members on the cover). Stay tuned for a brand new full-length to be released soon on Baltimore's Reptilian Records. Rock.
