Meteorologist Garry Frank of WXMI Fox 17 in Grand Rapids is sick of being the bearer of bad news. And when your job is deliver updates on Michigan's reliably shitty weather, your job is to deliver lots of bad news.
It got so bad recently that Frank ranted to his co-hosts this week after they apparently complained about the weather one too many times.
"You guys are dragging me down," Frank says in the clip, posted to WXMI's YouTube page. "Every time I get done with the seven-day, you guys are like, 'Ugh, gosh, ugh.' Every time. It doesn't matter what time I come on: 4:30. 5:30. 6:30. And then you expect me to be chipper for five straight hours. It's miserable."
As they say, don't shoot the messenger.
Frank continued his rant, pacing in front of the green screen to magnificent comedic effect. "I want you guys to say, 'Wow, that's great news. It's going to be 60 on Friday," he says. "What do you want me to do, lie to you? I'll put 70 every day next time. God."
Frank's glorious freakout can be enjoyed below.
