“Don’t judge a book by its cover,” they say. But video games, apparently, are fair game.
The controversial PS4 game Detroit: Become Human – to be released in May – showed off its cover today and fan reactions seemed to largely range between polite applause and thermonuclear attack.
The cover image, which features the face of an android with the Renaissance Center in the background, got these reactions online.
“It’s … not great.” –Allegra Frank, Polygon
“Seventy percent of it is a dude’s face.” –Acquiescence, Resetera
And, of course, you can expect the usual user-edited “fixes” to make you crack a smile.
