Detroit City FC has made waves locally, but some of them have spread across the pond, where the UK-based Guardian newspaper has made the team the subject of a splashy feature. We even heard a thing or two we didn’t know from the tale. (Is the team’s nickname, Le Rouge, really derived from the Rouge River?) It’s an uplifting story, and once again, Sean Mann is at the center of it all, and it’s great to have an international readership acquaint itself with a guy who knows a thing or two about moving to Detroit. A nice score for DCFC.
