There are some amazing shows going on this fall, and these are all the ones that we are excited for.

Brian Wilson- Sept 30 @ Fox Theatre In celebration that it has been 50 years since The Beach Boys released one of the most influential albums ever, Pet Sounds, Brian Wilson is on tour for one last time. The album was released in May of 1966 andforever changed the way rock and pop music was made. You might remember such classics like “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” and “God Only Knows.” If you’re a Beach Boys fan, you will not want to miss this show. Kamasi Washington- Sept 30 @ Michigan Theatre Kamasi Washington is an extremely talented saxophonist and musician and is so worth your time to go and see. Doors at 8 p.m.; 603 E Liberty St., Ann Arbor; Tickets range from $30-$60. Photo via Facebook
Leon Bridges- Sept 30 @ Fillmore After making a SNL debut last Spring, Leon Bridges is the leading force in the neo-soul genre. Bridges just has this coolness about him that can’t be replicated. His song “Smooth Sailing” is effortlessly cool and sly. You’ll feel like you’re watching a band in the 1960’s playing instead of 2016. Lianna La Havas is set to open. Doors at 7 p.m.; 2115 Woodward Ave., Detroit; Tickets are $35 or $50. Photo via Facebook
Sigur Ros- Oct 1 @ Fox Theatre We fuckin’ love Sigur Ros here at the Metro Times, and we cannot wait for this show. The Icelandic trio will be taking the stage at The Fox Theatre without an opening act for the first time ever. Instead, the band will be playing two sets with an intermissions in between. If you’ve ever seen Sigur Ros before then this will be an entirely new show for longtime fans. James Bay- Oct 4 @ The Fillmore Your favorite hat-wearing hipster, James Bay, will be in town this October to croon with his trademark European singer-songwriter angst. He’s really a more likeable, (and more fun to listen to) John Mayer. If you’ve seen his live performances from Late Night with Seth Meyers and Ellen, you know that this isn’t a show to be missed. This, in addition to her strong vocal range, aids in making her Know-It-All Part II Tour a necessity when planning out your Fall concert agenda. Her performance of the insatiably enticing “Here” on The View shows off her commanding stage presence, which is especially impressive considering she has only released one album so far.
