A new Detroit-based auction company called Block Auction House will hold its first auction inside Wayne State University’s mid-century masterpiece, the McGregor Memorial Conference Center. The building is an appropriate setting to sell the company’s stockpile of 200-plus mid-century objects. The pieces range from furniture to Brutalist art.

The auction will begin at 7 p.m. on Dec. 15. The McGregor building is located at 495 Gilmour Mall, Detroit. For more information about the sale click here.
