Friday, July 8 - Campus Martius
Reports of an 8 p.m. demonstration at the downtown landmark have been widely circulated
, though an organizing body has not been identified as far as we know.
Monday, July 11 - Southfield High School
A peaceful protest at Southfield High School, with keynote speaker Mikiah Keener, an 18 year-old minister at Triumph Church, is planned for next week at 6 p.m.
spoke with one of the event organizers Ramoni Overton.
"Our goal is to have a peaceful protest, & speak to the community about how we can further the Black Lives Matter movement. We want to discuss the inequality that minorities face, and the community's anger about police brutality," she says.
Monday, July 25 - location TBD

A rally to end police shootings is being held in Lansing, Friday, July 8 at 6 p.m. at Union Missionary Baptist Church. More details here
