The QLine got the 'Pure Michigan' commercial spoof and it's hilarious

Posted By on Wed, May 17, 2017 at 10:57 AM

There's nothing funnier than a good old Pure Michigan spoof (some of our favorites include the Downriver and Jobbie Nooner "commericals"), and the brains behind the clips, John Kerfoot, is back at it with another parody that takes on the newly opened (and highly discussed) QLine.

The fake commercial plays with all of the criticism that the QLine has received in the last few weeks. There are hilarious zingers like "the train's downtown commute rivals the walking pace of a 62-year-old woman" and pointing out the fact that "you need to have a ride to get to it."

Needless to say, we were laughing pretty hard in the office this morning watching the video.

The end of the ad ends with "The QLine: The People Mover Part 2" — a question that this week's cover story of Metro Times explores.
