Ah, the Grosse Pointes. A few months ago, we gave the crazy quilt of east side suburbs a bit of a good razzing, due to a confluence of events that evinced a rather small-minded attitude on the part of some Grosse Pointers. But in spite of those dismal events — or perhaps because of them — some Grosse Pointers are joining with Detroiters to discuss the city-suburb divide that appears so prominent on that side of town.
