They want to help Detroit — and if you Detroiters don't like it, you should move

OK, this shouldn't require a big introduction.

Middle-aged white man comes to Detroit to "help" the city.

Evidently, he doesn't spend a whole lot of time talking to people at TV Lounge or the Turkey Grill before deciding how to help. He doesn't appear to be advised in how to shed a missionary attitude when coming into community.

He doesn't appear to have asked anybody in Detroit what they actually want.

But he's here to help you.

And that's why he's authored a blog post in which he loses his shit for 1,152 words, telling Detroiters that if they don't want his kind of help, they should move.
