In the wake of the deadliest mass shooting in American modern history last night in Las Vegas, Michigan politicians have issued statements offering thoughts and prayers to the victims of the massacre, which left at least 58 dead and 500 more injured.

U.S. Reps Bill Huizenga, Justin Amash, Tim Walberg, Mike Bishop, and Paul Mitchell all tweeted out condolences to the victims, their families, and first responders this morning — yet all of these politicians have accepted donations from the NRA during their time in office.

According to a report from the Washington Post from June of 2016, the NRA has donated a total of $87,850 to Michigan lawmakers. Here is a breakdown of the amount of money each Representative has received from the NRA up until 2016:
  • Rep. Tim Walberg: $20,400
  • Rep. Bill Huizenga: $9,650
  • Rep, Mike Bishop: $2,000
  • Rep. Justin Amash: $1,000.
The four other Republican Representatives have also received donations from the NRA, but have not made a statement on the Las Vegas massacre yet.

You can see the Representatives' statements below.
