These photos were posted a couple weeks ago, but we missed them at the time. They really are great photos in and of themselves, and then they happen to capture some of our most important artists in the hip-hop/ related scene. 


From the intro to the piece: “FACT’s Maxwell Schiano spent a week in Detroit over the Christmas period, photographing some of the city’s key artists – as well as some nearby acts with family links there, such as Ann Arbor’s Shigeto – as they wound down and braved the snow for the holidays.”


We especially appreciate the lack of ruin porn!
