Mudgie's to sell ready-made sandwiches and salads

Pressed for time on your lunch break? Tired of desperately trying to piece together a meal at the office vending machines? If you're craving instead for a hearty deli sandwich from Mudgie's but don't have the time to sit down and dine, you'll soon have the option of selecting from one of several ready-made varieties in the Corktown deli's new wine shop.

Greg Mudge tells us that he'll offer up to-go sandwiches and salads starting Jan. 18. He said prior to this new option, harried customers would have to call in their orders. If you remember the set up before he expanded the space, you may recall guests with pick-up orders would have to stand in a long line that would sometimes reach the front door. Now with the retail space, bar, and existing dining room, Mudgie's fans can swing by for a quick fix to-go, chill out during happy hour, or invite colleagues over for power lunch - all under one roof.
