Their cookies are to die for, especially their gingerbread cookies that are perfect for the holidays. Grab us a pie while you’re there, too!
Benny’s Bakery 111 W Michigan Ave, Saline 734-429-9120 Benny’s Bakery in Saline specializes in all sorts of baked goods (including amazing breakfast sandwiches) but what really has us going are their cookies. And just look at those beautifully decorated sugar cookies!

Shatila 14300 W Warren Ave, Dearborn 313-582-1952 You haven’t lived until you’ve tried the cookies at Shatila. They offer up delicious French pastries, but it’s their Middle Eastern cookies and desserts that are the real homerun. Go there now.
Cantoro 15550 N. Haggerty Rd. (734) 420-1100 This “Italian Disneyland’ has every kind of traditional Italian cookie your heart desires. From Instagram worthy macaroons to delicious pastries, this bakery is ready and willing to find your ideal dessert.
Mexicantown Bakery 4300 W Vernor Hwy (313) 554-0001 Traditional mexican bakery with downtown flair. This place has colorful cookies, and a tres leches that is absolutely delicious.
Apple Annie’s Kitchen & Bakery 28030 Gratiot Ave. 586.778.4321 Although they are better known for delicious soups and apple dumplings, the cookies served here are just as great!
Opera Pastry 6088 W Maple Rd (248) 855-4000 Opera Pastry’s cookie selection will have you singing with joy. Just look at them!
Vinewood Mexican Bakery 988 Vinewood St (313) 610-4274 So. Many. Yummy. Things. We don’t have the time to try them all!
Bon Bon Bon 2756 Evaline St, Hamtramck 313-236-5581 We suppose that a bon is technically not a cookie, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t deserve the recognition.
Dearborn Italian Bakery 24545 Ford Rd 313-274-2350 This little 50 year old bakery makes some bomb ass cannolis. Seriously, you need one in your life.
Zingerman’s 3711 Plaza Drive 734-761-2095 They have a cookie called funky chunky chocolate. What more is there to say?
Jenn’s Sweet Treats http://jennssweettreats.com/ Jennifer (Jenn) Groh is the head behind these amazing custom designed cookies. She works out of her house in berkley and has been so busy lately, that she’s booked until January! Until then we’ll drool over the photos on her website.
Bammorito Bakery 21830 Greater Mack (586)772-6731 These cookies are to die for. Gourmet peanut butter, italian chocolate chip, and butter almond are just three of many many more, it’s so hard to choose!
Bartz Bakery 1532 N Telegraph Rd (313) 562-0986 Bartz not only has amazing cookies, it has amazing cupcakes too! This place is inexpensive and gives you the most bang for your buck!
