As it turns out, you don't have to be a wrestler to be inducted into the World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame you just have to throw a few verbal punches.

Looking every bit like photographer Terry Richardson, Kid Rock joined the celebrity wing of the WWE Hall of Fame Friday evening ahead of WrestleMania 34.

"This is better than any Grammy any day of the week," Grammy-less Rock said of the honor.

Despite being asked to avoid Vince McMahon and politics during his acceptance speech, the former psych-out Senate candidate and Motor City maniac went predictably off-script.

"Man, I get all worked up around all this testosterone, I just wanna body slam some Democrats."

The jab elicited an uproar of mixed boos, jeers, and applause from the audience.
"Calm down. I'm joking," he said. "Look at me standing here with my pockets empty. We are all human beings first, Americans second. Let's find some common ground and get along, alright?"

Rock concluded his speech with a dedication to deceased bandmate, hypeman, and wrestling superfan Joe C., reflecting on the time Joe C. admitted he was using Rock as a stepping stone to his future WWE career.

In addition to his parents, fiance, and his Twisted Brown Trucker Band, Rock also thanked Jesus by saying, "Sup, Jesus. I'm thinking of you, buddy."
