Smile, Danny Brown fixed his iconic teeth

Posted By on Mon, Sep 11, 2017 at 9:43 AM

Detroit rapper Danny Brown has become famous for two things: his atypical, nasal rapping delivery and for flashing a signature gap-toothed grin.

But as of last weekend, one of those things is no longer true.

Apparently, Brown has fixed his teeth. On Friday, he posted a photo of his new grill on his Instagram story with a Nas reference: "They say the boy got his chipped tooth fixed."

In Brown's true musically omnivorous fashion, he followed up on Twitter with an Ozzy Osbourne reference: "I’m going thru changes."

As the story goes, Brown jacked his grill while riding his bike as a kid (as dramatized in his "Grown Up" video). In 2013, it was rumored that Brown got a new set of teeth, and that KFC — having allegedly been the site of the accident — footed the bill. It wound up being fake news. ("I ain't got my damn teeth fixed," Brown responded at the time. "Y'all resharded.")

Last week, it was announced that Brown will co-headline his annual Bruiser Thanksgiving with rapper Lil B.
