Huntington Woods natives Max and Eli Sussman have gone on to earn acclaim as notable chefs in New York — Max at the Cleveland, and Eli at the Mile End Deli. They’ve also got four cookbooks released to their name, and their latest is called Classic Recipes for Modern People, featuring 75 recipes “that reimagine classic dishes from their childhood and yours.” 

The brothers will be in town for a book release party starting at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 11 at Signal-Return, 1345 Division St., Detroit. Recipes from the cookbook will be prepared by Rubbed, and DJ Mike Medow and Ben Christensen will provide music. Signed books will be available for purchase.
