Aaron Foley is a man we admire. The editor of Blac Detroit, author of How to Live in Detroit Without Being a Jackass, and sometimes contributor to Metro Times always has insightful, thoughtful comments about goings-on not only in our city but the country as well. For those who love to engage with Foley and pick his brain a little (read: us), he’ll be hosting a Coffee & Conversation at Will Leather Goods Friday. During this time he will be discussing the role of young Detroiters in the city’s revival, which is sure to be an interesting and lively topic.

Friday, 8/5, starts at 8 a.m.; 4120 Second Ave., Detroit; 313-309-7892; willleathergoods.com; admission is free.
