According to a Facebook post by Traverse City’s U.S. Coast Guard Air Station, with all the ice gone from Lake Michigan, the water is crystal clear. That means, if you fly over it, you can clearly see ships that long ago sunk into the lake. 

All these photos were taken near Sleeping Bear Point along the Shoreline from Leland to Northport.
