For what that’s worth, anyhow, by quantification in our era of Internet-wrung attention spans and our endemic wait, did you hear about this shit-yet?-culture-kaleidoscope of ever streaming songs and retweeted tunes.
Formidably wordy rap over crisp, cordial lo-fi baroque-pop – Aesop Rock + Kimya Dawson (of Moldy Peaches fame). That hollow beating drum makes it sound so primal, but the verbiage is so rich and evocative – I feel like I just read the script to some arty-emo indie film – And what a sweet, sweet soundtrack!
Severed horsehead? Cleaning out washing machines? A giant arm with a head…? A sense of community found inside the laundromat! The company of other people…
…enjoying this song and other songs by The Uncluded – a collaboration between the two songwriters, distinctively quirky entities flung to the more eclectic left-fields of their respective genres.
