Downtown Detroit’s Grand Trunk Pub is ground zero for fans of Michigan craft beer. Almost weekly, the bar offers special tastings of the beers that are making the Mitten a national force in the brewing scene. Next week is no exception: They’ll host a “bourbon beer tasting,” featuring Arcadia Deliverance, New Holland Dragon Milk Reserve, Bell’s Barrel Aged Kalamazoo Stout, and Founders Backwoods Bastard. It’s $35 a flight or $10 per 10-ounce pour. It all starts at 7 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, at 612 Woodward Ave., Detroit; 313-961-3043; grandtrunkpub.com.
