A couple of months ago we wrote about how the word “Yooper” was going to be added to the Merriam-Webster dictionary.
Well, folks, it’s happened.
The moniker for residents of the Lake Superior region has officially been added to the Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary and the company’s free online database:
