This week, it seems like everybody’s sounding off on Gov. Snyder, his administration, and its role in the poisoning of Flint children. We’ve seen essays, diatribes, memes, and more, but … we have seen precious little poetry.

Finally, a poem about this whole situation has emerged. It appeared today on the lefty news site CounterPunch, authored by one Jonathan Andersen. What’s more, it’s a form of poem usually eschewed by today’s poetry crowd: It’s a curse.

So, if any of you have longed for a way to wish there were a hell, and to hope the governor rots there — or, heck, if you just plain like poetry — click the link here and see it for yourself.
