The modern dance company will deliver Ailey’s signature work, Revelations, which explores the African-American tradition and history.

Alvin Ailey Dance Theatre will performance begin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 15 and Saturday, March 16, and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 17; 1526 Broadway St., Detroit; 313-961-3500; michiganopera.org; Tickets start at $35.
