Writer, comedian, and musician Fred Armisen is a man of many really cool hats.

He's performed as one half of vest-wearing improvisational holiday duo Garth and Kat on Saturday Night Live's Weekend Update. He's also slipped into a black turtleneck to introduce tiny Apple products as the late tech genius, Steve Jobs, and he has frequently transformed himself into Candace — the combative co-owner of a feminist bookstore on his, and Carrie Brownstein's award-winning sketch comedy series, Portlandia.

While Armisen may not be taking his satirical hours-long, one-man-show on the road, he is bringing his "Comedy for Musicians but Everyone is Welcome" tour to Pontiac's Crofoot Ballroom on May 19. The performance will span an array of songs from Armisen's many parody projects like soft-rock mockumentary legends Blue Jean Committee, "Fistfight in a Parking Lot" punk rockers, Crisis of Conformity, and new wave downers, the Fingerlings.

Tickets ($30) go on sale Friday, March 8 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased here.
