Detroit Artists' Test Lab to explores urban farming with free 'Land Grab' screening

In the latest installment of Detroit Artists’ Test Lab documentary series, the story of millionaire John Hantz and his efforts to create a huge urban farm on Detroit’s east side are explored in 2016’s Land Grab. Directed by Sean King O’Grady, Land Grab explores Hantz’s controversial and politically heated land acquisition. Hantz Farms president Michael Score will conduct a discussion about the farm following the screening.

Land Grab screening begins at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 4 at Detroit Artists' Test Lab; 14600 Mack Ave., Detroit; detroittestlab.com; Screening is free and open to the public.
